Noblemen Wines, founded in 2019 by husband and wife duo Austin and Katie Pitzer, is a quality-focused Texas wine brand. In 2025, Victor and Elizabeth Eichhorn took the reigns and continue Noblemen’s commitment to quality wines from Texas-grown grapes. We source old school, heritage varietals that thrive in the Texas climate.

The name, Noblemen, pays tribute to the ‘Noblemen of Texas,’ a group of German nobility that led an emigration effort to the state in the 1840’s. These ‘Noblemen’ eventually founded the town of Fredericksburg, which is now the center of wine tourism in Texas. Included in this group were some of Austin’s family members, making it that much more significant to recognize their contributions to this region. 

Together with winemaker John Rivenbergh, we carry on the pioneering spirit of the ‘Noblemen of Texas’ by consistently searching historically old world varietals, bridging the gap between past and present. Based in San Antonio, Texas, the portfolio celebrates the character of each vintage and the terroir from where they originate, creating wines tailored to Texas tastes.
